A summer program teaching life skills to young men every summer.

Gregory Leon Bell is a former football running back in the National Football League for the Buffalo Bills, the Los Angeles Rams, and the Los Angeles Raiders, from 1984 to 1991. Bell played college football and graduated from the University of Notre Dame and was drafted by the Bills in the first round of the 1984 NFL Draft. Bell was elected to the 1985 Pro Bowl and rushed for more than 5,000 yards over an eight-year career and twice led the NFL in touchdown and scoring by a non-kicker.
In the 1984, Bell was named state spokesperson by Governor Mario Cuomo for New York State’s program, Athletes Against Drunk Driving and Drug Abuse, which began his dedication to the mentorship of children and community. Since, Bell has touched thousands of student athletes through his organization, Athletes for Life Foundation. Athletes for Life Foundation provides after-school programs and life skills camps for more than 2,000 at-risk and low-income students annually throughout Southern California.
Athletes for Life’s Summer Life Skills Camp is one of the largest free camps of its kind in the United States. With the life skills and mentoring program, Bell has seen an average of 94 percent of his male and female participants go on to college.
Bell resides in Southern California. He is a former television broadcaster with Fox Sports Network and a former radio broadcaster with Mutual Sports Broadcasting and locally with the former Mighty 690 sports radio and Power 106. He is also the author of the forth coming book, Athletic Wisdom for Students which will be Bell’s first book.
