Host Dawn Osborne: Entrepreneur and Motivational Speaker Dawn Osborne has raised more than 25 million dollars for both local and national non-profit agencies over the past 20 years. During the same span, she has also worked hand-in-hand with scores of entrepreneurs in the LA area to help them bring their business dreams to life.
Unique among business people, Dawn’s mix of warmth, passion and practical business development savvy have earned her the title of “Dream Doula” among clients whose new businesses she has helped birth.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, and raised in Los Angeles, California, Dawn is the eldest daughter of legendary R&B singer Jeffrey Osborne and the proud mother of two children. Her talent and ability to “Woo” crowds is delivered in her dynamic and relatable speaking style, always leaving her diverse audience base edified and inspired.
On the technical side, Dawn’s actionable guidance has assisted countless visionaries in driving their businesses to the next level through grant proposals, management direction, contract review, and development of functional internal intelligence management systems.
Dawn’s goal is to deliver business development content that blends two key aspects of entrepreneurialism: passion and practicality. She helps small business owners and start-ups learn from the teachings of successful business owners for both increasing their revenues and for triumphing over mental and emotional obstacles common to early business owners.
Additional Background: In 2012 Dawn became a Certified Life Coach. Since then she has taken the years of experience, and strategic guidance provided to successfully funded entrepreneurs and created her Leading-Edge Coaching System. Dawn moved into Executive Coaching because of her work with Non-Profits. As she began to win multi-million-dollar grant awards for her clients, she found that they were ill-equipped to manage the immediate growth and began guiding and coaching the business leaders to successful management of the funds awarded. Over the years Dawn has become known for taking small non-profits and using out of the box strategies to increase revenue and expand services. Her clientele has included: H.E.L.P.ER. Foundation, YWCA of Los Angeles, AADAP, Los Angeles Metropolitan Churches, Public Health Foundation Enterprises. Aztecs Rising, Miss Black USA Pageant, Walter Payton Foundation, City of Hope, Homestead Hospice, and Shelter, Friends of Child Advocates (CASA of Los Angeles), Loved One’s Victims Services, HollyRod Foundation, and EmpowerTech – just to name a few.
